Perpetual Janice! Again!

For those of you familiar with 6-8 month old babies, they like to grab at things, especially on the face: nose, ears, lips, cheeks, chins...in short, anything. They have no problem in trying to pick your nose for you, for example. They also delight in hanging on to your ear, for dear life, as seen in this shot!

Immediately after the pool chair photo, Janice essentially toppled off the lounger, as babies are wont to do sometimes. This resulted in her scraping her nose, and bleeding profusely (for a baby). In reality, it was a scratch. Mommy and daddy freaked a bit (our baby is hurt!), before comforting baby. As a result, in the futon pictures, you'll see Janice with a red patch (scabbing) on her nose. For about a week, Janice was our "Rudolph," a red-nosed baby. :)
